Mistakes are key

Have you ever felt like you just can't get it right? Like you're constantly messing up? I know I have. Sometimes, when I make mistakes, it feels like they stack up ten times higher than my accomplishments!

But mistakes are a part of life—more importantly, a part of growing. Think about it: when you were a baby (if anyone remembers that), how did you learn to walk? You fell! You kept falling, but then one day, you could stand on those two little legs, and you were walking! You learned as a baby that mistakes lead to accomplishments, and you never gave up.

Take that knowledge now and apply it to whatever you're going through. Don't give up! Don't dwell on your mistakes and feel discouraged. How will you ever achieve anything if you sit around thinking about your failures? The only person without mistakes is the one who never tries.

Would you rather try and fail? Or never fail but never try?

"Mistakes are the steppingstones to success."

Thomas Edison is a perfect example of this. He once said, “I never once failed at making a light bulb. I just found out 99 ways not to make one.” Isn't that brilliant? He changed his perspective. Instead of focusing on those 99 mistakes, he focused on learning from them—and voila, we have the lightbulb.

Learn from your mistakes. Don’t dwell on failure. Try, fail, grow!

“For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.”

- Proverbs 24:16

Absolutely brilliant. Failure provides necessary contrast within our finite experience, for without knowledge and understanding, life is but a feeble existence dearth of any prosperous soul.

What a profound writing, I like this concept of comparing trial and error with the early stages of life! Love this!
